DIMOS receives middle east innovation award 2022 in dubai

 

 

DIMOS Maschinenbau GmbH has won the TLME Innovation Award in Dubai in the Air Cargo Automation category. The industry platform Transport & Logistics Middle East awarded the manufacturer of warehouse and industrial trucks for the DIMOS INTRAC, the automated pallet mover for efficient ULD handling.

March 24, 2022 | The TLME Innovation Awards 2022 are among the most important logistics awards in the Arab region. This year, DIMOS came out on top with its INTRAC Pallet Mover in the "Most Innovative Automation Solution Provider - Air Cargo" category. The award recognizes companies that develop automation solutions for the air cargo industry, ultimately helping to speed up operational processes and make them more efficient.

INTRAC: new generation of autonomous cargo handling systems
With INTRAC, DIMOS enables the automated transport of air cargo containers. The Pallet Mover enables an unprecedented level of automation in end-to-end cargo handling. The vehicle autonomously transports ULDs in the terminal, arranges storage and staging areas in advance, and stores the carriers in a flexible area as needed. In combination with other vehicles from the DIMOS Air Cargo portfolio, the INTRAC enables completely flexible use of the terminal space. This allows air cargo tasks to be handled efficiently. The system was introduced as a pilot project at one of Germany's largest airport operators at the end of 2021.

SUCCESS THROUGH TEAMWORK

"A big thank you goes to the entire DIMOS team - both in Germany and in the United Arab Emirates," says a delighted Pascal Schütz, responsible for sales and development at DIMOS. He was allowed to accept the award together with other team members personally in Dubai. "Without our heart and soul, teamwork and passion, we would not be holding the award in our hands right now," he continues. The Petersberg-based family business has 90 employees, 15 of whom are located directly in Dubai. Projects - especially in the air cargo sector - have been realized by DIMOS in Dubai since 1999. Since this year, the company has been taking care of orders and customers directly on site with its own branch office.
